🎤 Official Rules & Regulations:
The Ultimate Vocal Challenge (Online Edition)

1. Eligibility

Open to vocalists aged 16 - 45 years from the United States of America!
Contestants must not have a current recording contract or major label representation.
Entrants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
Only solo performers are eligible.

2. Entry Requirements

All entries must be submitted online be clicking the below "Audition" link button before March 1, 2026.
Each contestant may submit one video audition no longer than 4 minutes in length.
The video must clearly show the performer’s face and full vocal performance (no studio effects, no autotune, or backing vocals).
Acceptable formats: MP4, MOV, or AVI, with a maximum file size of [specify limit, e.g., 250 MB].

3. Song Selection

Performers may sing any genre or language, provided lyrics are appropriate for all audiences.
Songs with offensive, discriminatory, or explicit content will result in disqualification.

4. Judging Criteria

Submissions will be judged by a panel of music professionals.

Vocal Quality (tone, control, pitch, and range)
Performance & Stage Presence
Creativity & Originality
Overall Impression

Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

5. Competition Phases

Online Auditions: Contestants submit their entry videos.
Top 12 Announced: Selected performers move to the semi-final round.
Public Voting Round: The public can vote for their favorite performers online.
Finals: Top finalists perform live (virtually or in-studio).
Winner Announcement: Winners will be revealed on [date] via [platform].

Grand Prize: A professional recording session, music video, and professional photo shoot at Durant Studios.
Produced by Tim Foust and a featured single release.

7. Conduct & Disqualification

Contestants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Use of fake votes, plagiarism, or any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to remove or disqualify any entry that violates these rules.

8. Rights & Permissions

By entering, contestants grant the organizers the right to use submitted materials (video, name, image, and audio) for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
All intellectual property in original songs remains with the contestant.

9. Liability

The organizers, sponsors, and affiliates are not responsible for lost, damaged, or misdirected submissions or technical difficulties.
Participation implies acceptance of all rules and regulations listed herein.
