Melissa founded Durant Studios in 2003 after graduating from Lipscomb University. She has experience in a variety of video genres including film, commercials, music videos, wedding videography and photography. Setting her apart from many other videographers is her dual talent in audio recording and engineering, giving her videos a leading edge in the quality of the sound captured.
 
In addition to owning and operating Durant Studios, Melissa is also the Vice President of The Acappella Company, a Christian music company established in 1982 by her father Keith Lancaster. Most recently, Melissa has been instrumental in the content creation and design of the Praise and Harmony.TV app which is a digital streaming platform for Christian media of all kinds.
